Jasprit Bumrah broke his first-class half-century in the ongoing practice match against Australia A at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday. India was in trouble at one point after losing nine wickets by just 123 runs on the board, but Bumrah along with Mohammed Siraj put up a 71-run grandstand for the last wicket to bring the team total to 194. When innings of The visitors, Bumrah received an ‘honor guard’ from his teammates as he returned to the locker room.

In the second practice game, which is played with pink ball, Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and opted to hit in Sydney.
India got off to a bad start as they lost Mayank Agarwal in the third.
Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill then ran 63 runs for the second wicket.
Shaw broke 40 runs in just 29 deliveries in a full eight-limit inning.
The middle order failed to get going against the swaying pink ball as Rahane, Wriddhiman Saha and Rishabh Pant fell into single digit scores.
Bumrah saved the day with the bat, remaining undefeated at 55. He broke six limits and a couple of highs.

Bumrah also picked up a wicket in his first over on Day 1 of the second practice game.
Australia A was 36-1 in 10.4 overs before rain stopped play in Sydney. They still follow India by 158 runs.
