Reports say India does not want to travel to Brisbane for fear of being put into another harsh quarantine

Matthew Wade has stated that Australia is planning for the fourth test to take place in Brisbane as planned. His comments on Sunday followed media reports that the Indian team does not want to travel to Brisbane due to potentially stricter health protocols.

Although he said he had not heard of the Indians’ position in any official sector, Wade said in a press meeting: “We would prefer not to (modify the calendar). The calendar has been implemented and we would prefer to stick to that. There was speculation about that. the possibility of staying in Melbourne. CA [Cricket Australia] We have been adamant that we will stick with the program that we implemented in the early summer, so I would expect us to go to Gabba regardless of whether that is more of a quarantined hotel, coming home.
