Assam’s Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who regularly wears PPE equipment to visit Covid patients and doctors in state hospitals, wore his protective suit once again on Sunday to visit someone very special on the block. The tweet came on the eve of the four-day fall session of the Assam Legislative Assembly, which began today after rapid Covid tests were conducted for all employees, MLA and attending journalists amid the COVID-alert. 19.

Sarma has led Assam’s Covid management from the front. In the past five months, he has visited Covid plasma donation care centers, hospitals, and camps nearly twenty-four hours a day with his PPE team.
