‘Ask selectors to see their records’: Harbhajan Singh dissatisfied with Suryakumar Yadav’s absence from team India – cricket

The Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) announced on Monday the Indian team for the upcoming Australian tour. Team selection has been the talk of the town ever since for some unexpected decisions. Rohit Sharma was not selected for either team due to injury, while Rishabh Pant was eliminated from the white ball team. India will play four tests, three T20I and three ODI against Australia.

Meanwhile, veteran Harbhajan Singh was not satisfied with the team’s selection as he wanted to see Mumbai Indians batter Suryakumar Yadav on the team. He expressed his disappointment on Twitter and said that there are different rules for different players.

Harbhajan tweeted: “I don’t know what else @ surya_14kumar needs to do to be chosen in the India team … he has been performing every season of ipl and Ranji … different people, different rules I guess @BCCI, I ask everyone selectors that view your records. “

Suryakumar Yadav is in good shape in the current Indian Premier League, where he has scored 283 runs in 11 games with a strike rate of 149. He managed to get two fifty in the process and unite the Indians’ middle order of Mumbai.

Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma is also absent from the team as he is recovering from injury and missed the last two games of the 2020 IPL. The selection committee mentioned that the BCCI Medical Team will continue to monitor progress by Rohit Sharma.
