Senior leader of the Congress and the Department of Public Works, Minister Ashok Chavan has tested positive for the Covid-19.

He is the second minister in the Uddhav Thackeray government to get the infection after the Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad. Chavan is currently admitted in a hospital in Nanded. His condition is stable, sources said, adding that he was reportedly under quarantine at home for the last few days.

Awhad, after recovering from the disease earlier this month, had just come out in public about the severity of your condition.
