LUCK: Urdu poet Munawwar Rana equated AIMIM chief on Thursday Asaduddin Owaisi with Pakistan founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah and said that such leaders have divided and destroyed Muslims. He said the community will not allow another Jinnah to flourish in India.
Rana’s reaction came in the wake of Owai’s party, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul-Muslimeen, which won five seats in Bihar elections and supposedly cutting the votes of the great opposition alliance in many seats.
Call Owaisi a puppet of the Bjp, the 67-year-old poet said that the head of AIMIM always divides Muslim votes, which eventually benefits the BJP.
The poet alleged: “The politician based in Hyderabad (Owaisi) is a BJP agent. Both Asaduddin and his younger brother Akbaruddin Owaisi, who is a bully to me, deceive Muslims, especially young people, and create even more division among Muslim voters to directly benefit the BJP because Owaisi has an interest in saving their property for value of 15,000 million rupees. . ”
“What welfare or justice would it do to Muslims by winning five seats alone (in Bihar)? For Asaduddin, UP-Bihar is a dairy cow because of its vested interests. Asaduddin is hiding in Hyderabad when community tension erupts in UP, ”he added.
Claiming to have known Asaduddin for the past 42 years, Rana said: “For Seemanchal in Bihar, a Muslim-dominated region, Owaisi should have teamed up with Mahagathbandhan, led by Tejashwi Yadav, to rule out the NDA, but instead took the help of BJP to safeguard your interests. Those votes and seats could have changed the entire fate of Bihar politics. ”
Munnawar Rana, the winner of the Sahitya Akademi Award (which he returned in 2015), added that after Bihar, Owaisi is now heading to West Bengal to split the votes of Bengali Muslims, while Amit Shah will split the votes of Bengali Hindus.
“Before my death, I want to help Muslims, especially the young, to identify the real culprits who are destroying and dividing them. The beauty of this nation is in its diversity and it should not be compromised, ”he added.
