Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has asked the Center to deploy army and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) doctors and health workers at the upcoming 10,000-bed coronovirus facility, called the world’s largest bill. In a letter, he urged Home Minister Amit Shah to inspect the huge COVID-19 treatment center.
In response to the Union Minister, Mr. Kejriwal, assured that the facility will start functioning by 26 June.

The Delhi government, which is struggling with a shortage of COVID-19 beds amid cases of coronovirus, is converting the Radha Somi spiritual center into a huge COVID-19 facility. The Chhatarpur center has a covered area of 12,50,000 square feet, with 22 football fields, with pre-installed fans and CCTV cameras. It will have about 200 enclosures with 50 beds.
The facility was being used to shelter migrant workers. Its community kitchens are semi-industrial and can feed thousands of people at once.
Mr. Shah, in a series of tweets, assured the people of Delhi that many more COVID-19 beds will be provided in the coming days.

Armed Forces personnel have been expanded to provide medical care and attention to COVID patients housed in railway coaches in Delhi. As per the requirement, 8,000 additional beds have already been placed at the disposal of the Delhi Government to build COVID care centers.
