GUWAHATI: A day after Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian denied any knowledge of the five youths from Arunachal Pradesh, Union Sports Minister and Arunachal Pradesh MP Kiren Rijiju in a tweet said the chinese PLA has then found it on your soil.
“The PLA of China responds to the hotline message sent by the Indian military. They have confirmed that the missing youth from #ArunachalPradesh have found themselves by his side. Other modalities are being worked out to hand over people to our authority, ”Rijiju tweeted.
On Sunday, Rijiju had said in a tweet that the Indian military sent a hotline message to the PLA establishment at the border point in Arunachal Pradesh and was waiting for a response.

The five youths had gone to the border area and two of their friends, who managed to return home, told the villagers that the five had been kidnapped in the Sera-7 area, an Army patrol area located on the border.

On Friday, a Prakash Ringling, brother of one of the five youths, said in a Facebook post that his brother Prasad and four others had been “kidnapped” from Sera by the “Chinese PLA.”
The other four are Tanu Bakar, Ngaru Diri, Dongtu Ebiya, and Toch Singkam.
