The statue of Arun Jaitley was unveiled at the Delhi cricket stadium, formerly known as Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on the 68th anniversary of the birth of the former finance minister and head of the Delhi Districts Cricket Association. Arun Jaitley’s son and current DDCA president, Rohan Jaitley, was also seen at the ceremony where the famous politician was honored. A sA 30-foot tall statue of Jaitley was erected within the Feroz Shah Kotla facility. The statue costs around Rs 15 lakh and weighs around 800kg.
The statue of the famous politician arrived in Kotla on Saturday and was immediately given security cover. In particular, the former captain of India and legendary spinner Bishan Singh Bedi had objected the decision to erect the statue of Jaitley in the Kotla.
The Arun Jaitley statue was designed by the father and son duo Suthar of Ram Sutar Art Creations Pvt. Ltd, who designed the tallest statue in the world – the Sardar Patel Unity Statue in Gujarat. The statue was erected near the parking area near the Virender Sehwag gate at the DDCA.
Delhi’s cricket stadium was named after the former finance minister on September 12. Notably, the decision to erect the statue was made at the DDCA’s first board meeting in October, after Jaitley’s son Rohan was elected unopposed as president of state cricket. Body.

Bishan Singh Bedi Threatens Legal Action Against DDCA
Bishan Singh Bedi had written a scathing letter to Rohan Jaitley, expressing his reservation. Bedi asked the DDCA president to remove his name from one of the tiers and resigned from membership in the state unit.
“After the Feroze Shah Kotla was hastily and in the most undeserved way named by the late Arun Jaitley, my reaction was perhaps somehow that good sense prevailed to keep Kotla sacrosanct. How wrong I was. Now I have a statue. of the late Arun Jaitley who will settle in the Kotla. I am not at all in love with the idea of a statue of Arun Jaitley in Kotla. I pride myself on being a man of immense tolerance and patience … but all I fear is that it will end The DDCA has really put me to the test and forced me to take this drastic action. So, Mr. President, I ask that you remove my name from the booth that bears my name with immediate effect. In addition, I hereby resign my membership to the DDCA, ”Bishan Singh Bedi wrote in the letter.
In a second letter to Rohan on Sunday, Bedi even threatened legal action against DDCA if your name was not removed from the stands.
