The Arun Jaitley statue was designed by the father and son duo Suthar of Ram Sutar Art Creations Pvt. Ltd, who designed the tallest statue in the world – the Sardar Patel Unity Statue in Gujarat. The statue was erected near the parking area near the Virender Sehwag gate at the DDCA.

Delhi’s cricket stadium was named after the former finance minister on September 12. Notably, the decision to erect the statue was made at the DDCA’s first board meeting in October, after Jaitley’s son Rohan was elected unopposed as president of state cricket. Body.

In particular, Arun Jaitley had served as head of the DDCA for 14 years, from 1999 to 2013. The former leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party had passed away on August 24, 2019 due to multiple organ failure.

Bishan Singh Bedi Threatens Legal Action Against DDCA

Bishan Singh Bedi had written a scathing letter to Rohan Jaitley, expressing his reservation. Bedi asked the DDCA president to remove his name from one of the tiers and resigned from membership in the state unit.

In a second letter to Rohan on Sunday, Bedi even threatened legal action against DDCA if your name was not removed from the stands.
