The 47-year-old journalist also filed a bail statement in the session court following the Mumbai high court order.

Goswami, along with two other defendants Feroz Shaikh and Nitesh Sarda, were arrested on November 4 in connection with the 2018 suicide complicity case of designer Anvay Naik and his mother Kumud. Subsequently, the three defendants were presented before a magistrate who refused to take them into police custody and placed them in judicial custody until 18 November.
