Going forward, as the Government continues to review the situation and allowing companies to resume, TVS Motor Company is preparing to restart operations in accordance with state guidelines and is taking firm steps to safeguard the health of employees. The company remains optimistic about the potential demand for personal mobility once things are back to normal.

On the business front, TVS Motor Company has been in the news for acquiring a legendary motorcycle company recently. Norton Motorcycles of Great Britain was acquired entirely by the manufacturer based in Hosur. Recently, TVS also named John Russell as interim CEO of the British two-wheeler brand. John Russell is not a new name in the automotive industry as he served as Vice President and Managing Director of Harley-Davidson Europe from 1998 to 2007. Not only this, but also in the past, he has also played the role of Manager. Director of the Land Rover business division.
TVS has also announced that they have no plans to move Norton Motorcycles production to India. They hope to retain the same design and assembly team despite ownership being transferred to TVS.
