Apple announced today that it will launch its online store in India on September 23 to offer products and support directly to customers for the first time in the country.
With Apple Store Online, customers will receive assistance from Apple specialists who will help them choose the right products and configure them. These specialists will also help customers with their product problems, customize their Macs according to their needs, and provide free 1: 1 online sessions when purchasing certain Apple products from the online store. Orientation will be offered in both Hindi and English.
Customers will have the option to pay for products in the Apple Store online with a debit card, EMI credit card, net banking, credit card on delivery, UPI and RuPay. Apple will provide free, contactless delivery of these products.
You can also purchase AppleCare + from the online store, which extends your product warranty with up to two years of technical support and accidental damage coverage. And there will also be a trade-in program at the online Apple Store, so you can get your new iPhone at a lower price in exchange for any eligible smartphone.
In October, customers will receive free online Today at Apple sessions focused on photography and music, led by local creative professionals. In addition, the online Apple Store will also offer gift wrap and custom engraving options on select products.
Text or emoji engraving will be available in English, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu languages on AirPods, while iPad and Apple Pencil engraving will only be available in English.
