After PUBG Corporation announced that it would release an exclusive mobile version of its game for Indian fans in November, a new website and Facebook page for the same also appeared days later. Since most mobile versions of PUBG have their APK download links available on their official website, it’s safe to assume the same for the Indian version, a report from SportsKeeda he said Wednesday. If the reports are to be believed, many users had previously seen the ‘APK Download’ options in the ‘News’ section of the website, although it was found not to work.
The official website reportedly displayed two buttons. While the first button led to a listing for the game on the Google Play Store, the second was said to be an APK link through which users can download the game.
In early November, encouraging Indian mobile gamers, PUBG Corporation announced that it is returning to the Indian market with the creation of an Indian subsidiary and a new game.
As of now, PUBG Corporation officials want to meet with Indian government officials for approval and clearance. Reports from last week suggested that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) has not given PUBG Corporation or any new entities in India permission to restart operations.
Officials from the newly formed entity in India have officially urged MEITY to a meeting where they can discuss various aspects of the PUBG Mobile India launch.
