In the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET result announced today, the top spots were held by the same students who spearheaded the JEE Advanced 2020. Among the top five, three students also rank top in national engineering exams. In both JEE Advanced and JEE Main, students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have performed well. In the JEE 2020 main result, a total of 24 candidates scored in the 100th percentile and the largest number of toppers came from Telangana – eight students. AP also had three high-ranking students.

In AP EAMCET, Vavilapalli Sainath from Visakhapatnam led the exam and scored rank 1 in the engineering stream, and in the agriculture and medicine category, Guthi Chaitanya Bindu from Guntur scored rank 1.
Kumar Satyam from Ranga Reddy District of Telangana not only earned 2nd place in AP EAMCET, but also ranked 22nd All India (AIR) on IIT Entrance Exam. AP EAMCET Rank 3 holder Ganggula Bhuvan Reddy has secured All India Rank 2 in JEE Advanced. He is also one of the first in the OBC category in the IIT entrance test.
Likhith Reddy – the holder of AP EAMCET rank 4 was one of 24 students who scored 100th percentile in JEE Mains 2020.
A similar trend was observed in TS EAMCET where the JEE’s main female topper Tanuja Chakku placed 15th. She was the only woman to score a 100 percentile on JEE Main 2020.
In the AP EAMCET 2020 result, a total of 1,33,066 people qualified in engineering, 69,616 people qualified the exam in agriculture, medical currents. A total of 1,56,953 students had appeared for the engineering stream and 75,858 for the agriculture and medicine streams. Therefore, the approval percentage for the engineering stream was 84.78 percent and 91.77 percent for the agriculture and medical streams.
