Biden’s campaign manager, Jen O’Malley Dillon, in a briefing, said the campaign believes Biden is “on a clear path to victory this afternoon.”

Biden says ‘he won’t rest until all the votes are counted’
Biden has said his campaign will not “rest until all the votes are counted” in the US election after Trump said he would take action in the Supreme Court to stop the counting process.
“We will not rest until everyone’s vote is counted,” Biden said in a tweet.

Trump again falsely suggests that vote count indicates embezzlement
Trump, in his first tweet the day after Election Day, suggested that “surprise ballot dumps” had reduced his lead in key states.
Trump has repeatedly falsely claimed that ballots counted after Election Day are somehow less valid than those counted on Election Day. Experts have warned that his remarks could undermine the electoral process and fuel unrest.
Twitter tagged the tweet, saying that its content “is in dispute and could be misleading about an election or other civic process.
Last night he was leading, often solidly, in many key states, in almost all cases controlled and controlled by the Democrats. Then one by one, they began to magically disappear as the surprise dumps were counted. VERY STRANGE, and the “pollsters” got it completely and historically wrong!

Analyst: Trump’s statement on vote counting crosses the line for some Republican allies
Amy Pope, the former deputy national security adviser to President Barack Obama, told Al Jazeera that Trump’s demand that the vote counting stop has crossed the line for some of his Republican allies.
“The fact that [Former New Jersey Governor and Trump ally] Chris Christie immediately contradicted him online, suggesting that this is really being exceeded even for Republicans, ”he said. “Therefore, the vote count cannot be stopped,” Pope said, adding that there are other avenues Trump could take to challenge the outcome, including some pending litigation in states across the country.
“I think he (Trump) is not sure that he is going to win,” he added. “The fact that he’s doing it pre-emptively, the fact that he’s been doing it for the past few weeks really suggests a level of uncertainty about his ability to succeed and he wants, especially among his rank and file, to cast doubt on this choice. “
Trump has falsely claimed that the vote count after Election Day is evidence that the Democrats have stolen the election. That is false. States regularly and legally count votes, particularly mail-in ballots, after Election Day.

Summary: Where are we?
A controversial and fast-moving election season celebrated under the specter of the coronavirus pandemic and protests against racial injustice culminated on Tuesday with millions of American citizens heading to the polls.
Voting across the country on Election Day seemed to go relatively well. Before that, more than 100 million US citizens cast their votes by mail or in person in historic early voting.
However, as expected, the counting of those ballots, especially in states that do not allow the counting to begin until Election Day, has proven more overwhelming.
Currently, the AP has projected 238 electoral votes for Biden, who has so far turned around the Republican stronghold of Arizona. The AP has called for 213 electoral votes for Trump, and the AP has called for an early victory for the president on the Florida battlefield. A candidate must clear 270 electoral votes to win.
The nation now eagerly awaits the results of six key states on the battlefield: Pennsylvania with 20 electoral votes, Michigan with 16, Wisconsin with 10, North Carolina with 15, Georgia with 16 and Nevada with six.
France: the result of the vote will not affect trade with Europe
The outcome of the presidential election will have little effect on trade relations between the United States and Europe, France’s finance chief asserted, saying that Washington is unlikely to abandon its confrontational stance, whether Trump wins or not.
The US administration has imposed billions of dollars in tariffs on European imports over the past four years, and Trump has alleged unfair barriers against US companies trying to compete in continental markets.
Rouhani: Who wins US elections is not important to Iran
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has repeated his country’s stance on the US presidential race, saying that it is not important who wins, but what actions the next president takes toward sanctions on Iran.
“What is important to us is that the United States once again respects the Iranian nation. We want respect instead of penalties, no matter who it is [in office]. If you lift the unjust and illegal sanctions and replace them with respect, then our situation will be different, ”Rouhani said in a televised speech on Wednesday.
German minister warns of ‘very explosive situation’
German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer warns that the United States is facing a “highly explosive situation” and a possible systemic crisis after Trump prematurely declared electoral victory.
Following Trump’s remarks that he will go to the Supreme Court to prevent the ballots from being counted, Kramp-Karrenbauer told public broadcaster ZDF: “This election has not been decided … the votes are still being counted.”
She said Trump could create “a constitutional crisis in the US”, calling such a scenario “something that should be of great concern to us.”
What could happen if the result of the US elections is disputed?
Despite the incomplete results of various states on the battlefield that could determine the outcome of the US presidential race, Trump prematurely claimed electoral victory.
The move confirmed concerns that Trump is seeking to question the election results.

Look how the calls came
In an election season of unprecedented early voting, some states were quick to count the votes, allowing The Associated Press to declare that those electoral votes were in favor of either candidate. Others, notably the battlefields of Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina, could not yet be summoned.
