Indian captain Virat Kohli said he has learned many life lessons from Bollywood actor and wife Anushka Sharma.
Virat Kohli said that she was quite impatient for things in life before meeting Anushka Sharma, but things changed once their relationship began. Kohli and Anushka had been dating since 2013 and were married in a private ceremony in Italy in December 2017.
Kohli has often spoken about the influence Anushka has had on his life and the patron saint of India once again pointed out as the celebrity couple.
They addressed students about ‘motivation’ during an online session organized by ‘Unacademy’.
“To be honest, the patience I learned since Anushka and I met. I was very impatient before,” said Kohli.
“The mutual learning we’ve had from looking at his personality and composure in situations has really inspired me to fight.
“Even when things are difficult, you have to swallow your ego and keep being there in adversity, keep fighting to get out and eventually you will find a way.”
“So that’s what I’ve seen her do and I’ve learned from that.”
Speaking about the new coronavirus crisis that has halted normal life around the world, Virat Kohli said the world will change after the pandemic.
Kohli said that society has become more compassionate during the Covid-19 crisis and that it hopes it will continue even after normalcy returns.
“The only positive thing about this crisis is that we as a society have become more compassionate. We are showing more gratitude to the front-line workers in this war, be it police personnel, doctors or nurses,” said Kohli.
“I hope it stays that way even after we get through this crisis. Life is unpredictable. So, do what makes you happy and don’t make comparisons all the time. People now have the option to get out of this phase. Life is going. be different after this. “
