Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in 2017 after dating for several years. They announced earlier this year that they are expecting their first child in January 2021.
Anushka Sharma is currently in the United Arab Emirates, where Virat Kohli represents Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL).
On Thursday, RCB took to social media to wish its captain a birthday.
“To the man who has given blood, sweat and tears to Red and Gold. To our Leader and Legend, we wish KING KOHLI a very happy birthday !!” they wrote in their post.
Virat Kohli has scored 460 runs in 14 games this season, helping his team finish fourth on the points table and seal a spot in the playoffs.
Their best performance was an undefeated 90 against the Chennai Super Kings, helping RCB record a crucial victory.
RCB will face SunRisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator on Friday.
