Actress Payal Ghosh, who has brought sexual assault allegations against Anurag Kashyap, opened up about her experience with the Bollywood director and said she did not want other girls to go through a similar experience with Kashyap.
In an exclusive interview with Republic TV, Payal Ghosh said that he met the director in 2014 in his office with his manager. Later that day, Payal said that Anurag Kashyap invited her to his house for lunch and they had a good conversation about the film industry.
The actress further alleged that Kashyap called her again the next time, and that’s when he allegedly forced her. “When I felt uncomfortable, he told me that you don’t have to feel shy because my girls do it all the time. They are just a phone call away, they have a good time with me. “

‘Kashyap told me that he has relationships with several women’
Payal Ghosh further alleged that Kashyap bragged about having sex with several women and encouraged her to do the same. “The director proudly took the names of the women he has been with and spoke about his relationship with me even though he hardly knew me. That revealed how much he disrespected women. He spoke about the liberation of women and the sexual abuse of the women who work with him, he added.
He had first accused Anurag Kashyap of sexual abuse through a tweet on Saturday that the director denied and called “unfounded”. However, the president of the National Commission for Women (NCW), Rekha Sharma, responded to her tweet and asked her to file a complaint against the director.

‘Will file a complaint with NCW’
Payal Ghosh told Republic TV that he will file a complaint with NCW via email immediately. The actress also said that she doesn’t care about people who don’t support her accusations because she wanted to talk about her experience so that other women don’t suffer like her.
“My family had asked the actress to keep quiet about the sexual assault, as it would have seriously affected Ger’s career that had just started at the time. Recently, during an interview with a Telugu channel when the issue was discussed, my friend told me, if I talk about my experience, it would make other women know about Anurag’s character and they may not go through what you did, ”said Payal. .
Speaking in Anurag calling the accusations ‘unfounded’, Payal said: “No rapist says he has committed the crime.”
