Anurag Kashyap has strongly criticized the rather deplorable reports about Rhea Chakraborty. As we know, it has been subjected to one of the most horrendous media trials in recent times. The bias in the tone of some high-level journalists has made us wonder what happened to the basic principles of factual reporting. After she was arrested by NCB, Anurag Kashyap took to social media to share her conversation with the late actor’s manager. She said that she did not work with her as she found her troublesome. She also made a reference to the fact that people who knew her in the industry were aware of her problems. For the past three months, we have seen television channels interviewing staff members of the actors. Many of them have denied that they used drugs. Only a couple of them spoke about substance abuse. Rhea Chakraborty has said that she got hooked on marijuana while filming Kedarnath. She also said that a female co-star introduced her to the cured herb. In the leaked chats, there is a lot of reference to marijuana, as it seems that she smoked joints quite often. Anurag Kashyap said that things had reached a point where he had to share those talks in public.
