Samsung is holding another virtual press event very soon, just weeks after it held one to reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Today, it announced that the latest Samsung Galaxy Unpacked press event will take place on Wednesday, September 23. will start at 10:00 am ET.

While the company did not confirm what it plans to reveal, a great clue could be in the event’s full title: Unpacked for all fans. That would seem to indicate that it will officially announce the much-rumored and leaked Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition.
Samsung Galaxy unpacked for every fan
Based on rumors and leaked specs, the S20 Fan Edition could go on sale in October. Rumors suggest that it could have a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 2,400 x 1,080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
There could be 4G and 5G models, with the 4G version with Samsung’s Exynos 990 processor and the 5G model with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chip. It is also rumored to have three rear cameras, with a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP 123-degree wide-angle camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera. It may also have a 32MP selfie camera.
The phone is also rumored to contain a 4,500mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage. Finally, the phone could be offered in a wide variety of different colors.
It will be interesting to see if this phone is the only theme of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Unpacked. That could mean that the company will promote this S20 Fan Edition more as a flagship device rather than a mid-range phone.
