Another BJP Leader and Former Minister Leaves Party After Eknath Khadse


In another blow to the BJP at Marathwada region of Maharashtra, a senior leader and has left the party weeks later Eknath Khadse.

Former Minister of State of the Union (MoS) Jaysingrao Gaikwad has resigned from the main BJP membership.

He presented his letter to the BJP head of state, Chandrakant Patil.

Speaking to the news agency, he said: “I am willing to work for the party, but the party is not giving me opportunities, so I took this step.”

The party does not want those who have tried to raise the party in the state.

Jaisingrao Gaikwad worked at the saffron festival since the days of Jan Sangh. He had also worked with Gopinath Munde for the expansion of the party in Marathwada.

Gaikwad was elected deputy from the Beed Lok Sabha constituency three times.

He had also won twice from the Marathwada Graduate Constituency.

He was Minister of State for Cooperation in the State Cabinet. He was also Minister of State for Education and Mines of the Center.

He is currently a member of the BJP state working committee. However, for the past few days, he was marginalized.

He had previously joined the NCP. He was also elected deputy on an NCP ticket. However, he later returned to the BJP.

Recently, Eknath Khadse, who joined the NCP, had said that several leaders and workers would leave the party. However, it is not known whether Gaikwad will rejoin the PNC or another party.
