The prime minister said that all migrant workers who have returned to the state they were being recorded and their skills as assigned by the administration.

The chief Minister of Yogi Adityanath has said that states now have to ask the authorization of his government before hiring workers from Uttar Pradesh. Addressing a webinar on Sunday, Adityanath said that his government will establish strict conditions to ensure the social security of state workers that are hired by other states.

“If a state wants to labor, the state government has to ensure security and social insurance of the workers. Without our permission will not be able to take our people. Due to the type of treatment that was given [to UP residents]. Seeing this, we have taken the people of social security in our hand,” he added.

The prime minister said that all migrant workers who have returned to the state they were being recorded and their skills as assigned by the administration. Any state or interested entity in the recruitment of the same they need to take care of their social well-being, legal and financial rights.

Speaking about the challenges of his administration had faced during the coronavirus of the crisis, Adityanath said: “When I speak of Uttar Pradesh, then it is natural to say that it is the state with the largest population. We have faced several challenges during the running of the bulls. At the beginning, the migrant workers and the workers began to arrive for the state. We have deployed 16,000 buses, and in less than 24 hours, they were brought back to their districts of origin and arrangements were made to screen them.”

He also took a dig at leaders of the opposition to the migrants of the crisis. “During the crash, if those who now raised slogans for the poor, has honestly cared about the workers, the migration could have been stopped. This has not happened. No facilities were given. In several places, the electrical connections were cut, so people had to emigrate.” he said.
