Animated Kohli screams at the top of his lungs as Mo Siraj bounces off dangerous man Shaw

Virat Kohli’s animation in RCB colors is a show fans are used to, but this season, for four games, the franchise captain was unusually calm and collected. However, the ‘real Kohli’ emerged today when the RCB captain yelled at the top of his lungs from behind Prithvi Shaw’s wicket.

In just four games, RCB has already been through a roller coaster of emotions. It is not something new to them, but it happened anyway. They, for a change, won their first game, took a beating in the next game, and also won a Super Over after nearly snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Usually, under normal circumstances, Virat Kohli would have lost his mind, but for four matches the club captain somehow displayed a serene demeanor.

But you can only pretend to be someone else for a while, so finally, in the fifth game of the RCB season, the real Virat Kohli emerged, smashing the calm figure the world saw for a good 14 days.

The meme-laden Mohammad Siraj made his first appearance of the season, and his first assignment was to pitch a rampant Prithvi Shaw, who was in the middle of a flawless tackle. Siraj was crushed by a limit on his second ball by Dhawan, so a confrontation between him and Shaw was considered a mismatch. Yet surprisingly, to the utter horror of Delhi Capitals fans, the Hyderabad closer released a perfect one-inch gorilla that tricked Shaw into taking the young man’s gloves. Goalkeeper AB completed the capture to send Shaw prematurely back to the pavilion. But even though Siraj threw a perfect delivery, his lead was stolen by none other than Kohli.

Moments after her closer dismissed the Delhi talisman, Kohli, out of nowhere, came running towards the pacemaker and let out a loud roar that shook the screens. So loud was Kohli’s scream that it almost resounded through the empty Dubai International Stadium. It was the “Mr. Animated” version of the RCB pattern that first emerged this season.

Joking aside though, a fired up Kohli is what everyone wants to see.
