Anil Kapoor-starrer “AK vs Ak” will be released on Netflix on December 24th.

The Air Force today demanded the “withdrawal” of some scenes from a Netflix movie that will be released soon, “AK vs AK”, after Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor shared a preview on Twitter.
“The IAF uniform in this video is incorrectly on and the language used is inappropriate (sic),” the Indian Air Force tweeted.
The post further read: “This does not conform to the standards of behavior for members of the Indian Armed Forces. Related scenes should be removed. @NetflixIndia @ anuragkashyap72.” Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and Netflix India were tagged in the tweet.
Kapoor later apologized on Twitter.
“It has come to my attention that the trailer for my new movie ‘AK vs AK’ has offended some people. As I am wearing the uniform of the Indian Air Force and using non-parliamentary language, I would like to sincerely offer my humble apologies for unintentionally hurt feelings, “he said in a video message.

“AK vs AK” is a film by Vikramaditya Motwane, starring Anurag Kashyap and Anil Kapoor, “as themselves”. It will be released on December 24th.

The synopsis reads: “A cheeky movie director (Anurag Kashyap, as himself) kidnaps the daughter of a movie star (Anil Kapoor, as himself) and films the star’s desperate search for his daughter in real time as his next blockbuster. “
In the minute-long clip, Anil Kapoor, 63, and Anurag Kashyap, 48, are seen sparring while the seasoned actor uses foul language and abuses the filmmaker, who is rarely seen on camera. .
On Twitter, Anil Kapoor has thanked those who admire his work on the new project, which is said to be a mockumentary. In the post that was shared by the IAF, he wrote: “No more fooling the audience please. As promised, REAL AK’s #AKvsAK REAL narrative.”
Last month, the government issued an order placing online news portals and content providers like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Hotstar under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Until last month, there was no law or an autonomous body that regulated digital content. Government regulations also apply to news on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
In October, the Supreme Court had requested the center’s response to a request from an autonomous body to regulate over-the-top or OTT platforms. The high court had sent notices to the center, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Internet and Mobile Association of India.
The latest controversy has divided the Internet.
