To maintain social distance during the new coronavirus outbreak, people have come up with innovative ideas. The internet is full of videos and images of such creations, and today Anand Mahindra also turned to Twitter to share a clip of it.

The clip Mahindra posted featured the vehicle of a Tuk Tuk driver, but it was not his usual rickshaw. The interesting part of this new model was that it allowed all passengers to follow the distance by placing partitions.

The Chairman of the Mahindra Group was immensely impressed by the driver and even tagged Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director – Automotive and Agricultural Sectors, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. He asked him to hire the driver as an advisor.

He shared the clip with the caption: “The abilities of our people to innovate quickly and adapt to new circumstances never cease to amaze me. @ Rajesh664 we need to do that as an advisor to our R&D and product development teams!”

The video showed how the Tuk Tuk driver had used covers to segregate the rickshaw into five sections for his passengers. In this way, each passenger, including himself, could sit in a designated space without coming into contact with the other person. How innovative is that!
