MUMBAI: Irrfan Khan passed away Wednesday from a colon infection at the age of 54. The actor was admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani hospital on Tuesday, where he last breathed on Wednesday.
In an exclusive report, Peeping Moon revealed the actor, before taking his last breath he recalled his mother Saeeda Begum, who passed away on Saturday.
According to the entertainment portal, Irrfan told his wife Sutapa that he felt that his mother was close to him. He even said that he gave up and gave up.
The report further states that the actor believed that she had come to ease the pain of her own death.
“Dekho baithi hai mere paas, mujhe lene aaye hai (look, amma has come. She is sitting next to me. Amma has come to take me),” the actor reported to his wife, wjo was sobbing inconsolably.
Irrfan’s mother, 95, passed away last Saturday. The actor, due to the ongoing blockade of COVID-19, was unable to attend his mother’s last rite.
The actor has been ill since he was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor some time ago, and has been under medical care for the same thing. He even went abroad for treatment.
“Angrezi Medium” marked Irrfan’s return despite his sick condition. The latest Bollywood movie was released in theaters just a day before the coronavirus forced theaters to be closed entirely.
