Actor Amitabh Bachchan has revealed the reason why there was no Sunday viewing for the people who came to his Jalsa residence on his birthday Sunday. The actor turned 78 but the ‘Sunday darshan’, which has been a kind of tradition for the actor and his fans, was discontinued in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.
Writing on his blog, Amitabh said: “Today there is an apology for the few who came to Jalsa and those who put up banners in the street. My thanks to them and their efforts, but I’m just not allowed to go out and care is required, so I’m sorry. “
Amitabh, along with his son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and granddaughter Aaradhya were diagnosed with the coronavirus. The actor spent more than fifteen days in the hospital until he tested negative for the disease. After the mandatory quarantine, he returned to work in August. Amitabh is organizing the 12th edition of Kaun Banega Crorepati and is reportedly doing almost 15 hours of work.
