The film was initially scheduled to release in December 2019, but was postponed until January, April, and then May.
Soorarai Pottru’s theatrical release was delayed again due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the new release date set for October 30.th.
Just a week before the film’s debut, it was announced that Soorarai Pottru would be postponed one last time due to a failed attempt to obtain the NOC from the Indian Air Force.
The premiere has been delayed over and over again, but it finally looks like fans will be able to enjoy Soorarai Pottru in just a few hours.

- Soorarai Pottru’s official release time has not been confirmed, but fans should expect the film to premiere at midnight or 1:30 p.m. IST on Thursday, November 12.th.
The midnight premiere would be in accordance with the typical Amazon Prime India update window. However, there is also the possibility that Soorarai Pottru will launch at 1:30 PM IST based on Amazon’s Washington, United States headquarters.
