In the letter dated November 18, KCR wrote: “In order to provide equal opportunities to students from all states of India, it is requested that candidates be allowed to write all competitive exams in regional languages also for your recruitment into the Government of India and its department and companies through UPSC and all other agencies such as Railway Recruitment Boards, Public Sector Banks, RBI (Reserve Bank of India) and the Recruitment Commission “.
The letter also noted that students, who do not have a Middle English background or those students who do not have a Hindi-speaking background, have faced many disadvantages due to a lack of opportunities to write in regional languages. For the same reason, it was requested to facilitate the examinations in regional languages.
Meanwhile, KCR has also written to President Ram Nath Kovind, requesting that he release a commemorative stamp of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, preferably during his next stay in the south, where he will spend time in Hyderabad.
The letter also highlighted that Narasimha Rao was born on June 28, 1921 in the village of Vangara in the Karimnagar district of Telangana and was known for his contribution to human resource development, international relations, science and technology, and various other fields.
