For each of the three session sites, the responsible medical officer will identify 25 beneficiaries of the trial ( health workers, ”” the ministry said.
States / UTs have been asked to ensure that the data for these beneficiaries is uploaded to Co-WIN. These beneficiaries will also be available on the session site for the drill. The states and UT will prepare the facilities and users to be created in the Co-WIN application, including uploading the health care worker (HCW) beneficiary data.
States / UTs have been asked to:
– Ensure physical verification of all proposed sites to determine the suitability of space, logistical arrangements, Internet connectivity, electricity, security, etc.
– Prepare at least three model session sites in each state (in the state capital) for the demonstration;
– Ensuring that model sites have independent entrances and exits in a “three-room configuration” with adequate outdoor space for awareness-raising activities;
– Show all IEC material on these sites;
– Ensure that all SOPs and protocols are being practiced at the identified sites in an ideal environment together with vaccination teams to be identified and trained in all aspects.
The trial will also equip the state and UT administration in managing vaccine supply, storage and logistics, including cold chain management, the ministry said.
Vaccinators
Since vaccine administrators will play an important role in the vaccination process, several states have begun to train trainers and those who should administer the vaccine. Some 96,000 vaccinators have been trained for this purpose. More than 2,300 participants in national training of trainers and more than 57,000 participants in training at the district level have been trained in 719 districts.
Help lines
States are increasing state helpline 104 (to be used in addition to 1075) for any vaccine / software related inquiries. In the states / UT, orientation and capacity building of call center executives has been carried out. States were also encouraged to use the FAQs issued by the ministry of health proactively to address any such inquiries.
Management of possible adverse effects

In addition, compliance with and management of infection control practices at the session site, to prevent disease transmission. The drill will include simultaneous monitoring and review at the block and district level, and comment preparation.
