Alex Hales investigates PSL organizers and shares image of poor quality food | Cricket news

Speaking to the Pakistani Super League organizers, Alex Hales shared a photo of the breakfast served to the England cricketer on Thursday. Hales, who is part of Islamabad United, seemed clearly displeased with the service when he shared the image as his Instagram story, which had two eggs along with a toast and an unopened package.

Sharing the image of the food he received, Hales wrote: “Tostadas, tortillas, and baked beans.”

Earlier in the day, the current PSL season was indefinitely postponed after three more cricketers tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of positive cases to seven.

“The decision was made after seven cases were reported in the competition, which had started on February 20,” an official statement from the PCB said.

“The PCB, as an immediate step, will focus on the safe passage of all participants and will organize repeat PCR tests, vaccines and isolation facilities for the six participating sides,” the PCB statement added.

The organizing committee called a meeting a day after three positive cases were reported, including Quetta Gladiators hitter Tom Baton and Karachi Kings field coach Kamran Khan. This comes within days of Fawad Ahmed, the Pakistani-born Australian Quetta Gladiators player, testing positive, causing a league game to be postponed for one day.

Only 14 games could be completed in the 34-match tournament.
