Christopher Nolan’s mind-blowing drama Beginning released in India on Friday, on the eve of which, Dimple Kapadia, star of the film, received a special note from the director. Akshay Kumar, who is married to Twinkle Khanna, Dimple Kapadia’s daughter, couldn’t be more proud of his mother-in-law and gave a massive hello on Twitter. Witnessing Christopher Nolan’s thank you note to Dimple Kapadia was a “proud son-in-law moment” for Akshay. Here’s what he tweeted: “Christopher Nolan writes a heartfelt note to Dimple Kapadia on the eve of her release. Had I been in her place I wouldn’t have been able to move in amazement, but after seeing her work her magic in BeginningI couldn’t be happier and more proud of Mom. “
Akshay also attached a look at Christopher Nolan’s letter to Dimple, which read, “What can I say? Working with you has been a pleasure. Seeing you bring Priya to life around the world has been fantastic. Thank you for your great skill and work. hard and for lending your talent to Beginning. “

Prior to BeginningAt the India launch, Christopher Nolan addressed fans in India in a video message. Speaking of the scenes filmed in Mumbai, he said: “What I considered to be some of the most exciting scenes in the movie, some of which were with the great Dimple Kapadia. We had a wonderful time filming in India and it means a lot to me that finally everyone will be able to see Beginning on the big screen. So, I hope you enjoy it. Thanks a lot.”
In an interview with NDTV recently, Dimple Kapadia spoke about his experience working with the internationally acclaimed filmmaker. Speaking particularly about his audition, Dimple said, “The audition started and when I saw Mr. Nolan holding the camera for my audition, it was a great moment for me. I said it to myself at the time, even if I didn’t understand the part. I will treasure this moment when Christopher Nolan holds the camera and takes my audition, that’s huge! And when I found out I got the part, I was terrified. I was wondering, ‘How will I do this?’ There was a lot of anxiety and nervousness. “
