Actor Akshay Kumar met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at a dinner in Mumbai on Tuesday. A photo of the actor, immersed in a deep conversation with UP CM, has been shared.

Images of Akshay arriving at Mumbai Trident Hotel had previously been shared online. The CM landed in Mumbai and headed straight for the hotel, where it will remain stationed during its stay. On Wednesday, it is expected to issue a Lucknow municipal bond of Rs 200 crore on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Meetings with other Bollywood personalities are also expected to take place.

In September, the CM had expressed its intentions to establish the country’s “largest” film city in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district, including the twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida.

“The CM, while addressing a review meeting, announced the creation of the largest and most beautiful film city in the country at Gautam Buddha Nagar. He instructed officials to search for suitable land in or around Noida, Greater Noida or Yamuna Expressway and prepare an action plan, ”an official statement said.

He also held virtual meetings with members of the film industry. “Uttar Pradesh has borders with seven states and one country. This is the cultural center of the entire country. The oldest city in the world, Varanasi, and Lord Ram’s birthplace, Ayodhya, are in the state, ”said Adityanath. “The new film city will be close to the historic city of Hastinapur as the identified terrain is close to the city. Hastinapur has a huge contribution in the history of our country. Film City will be between the holy rivers of Ganges and Yamuna, “he added.
