The Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani movie Laxmii it’s all set to launch on Disney + Hotstar on Monday night. Ahead of the film’s release, the filmmakers held a special premiere on Sunday, images of which the main actors shared on their respective social media accounts. In addition to the film’s lead actors, producers Tusshar Kapoor and Shabina Khan, and transgender rights activist and veteran Bharatanatyam dancer Laxmi Narayan Tripathi were also present at the film’s premiere. Sharing a photo with his co-star on Instagram, Akshay Kumar wrote: “All set in black for the red carpet of Laxmii. “

Kiara Advani also shared images on her social media account. She wrote in her post: “Walking the red carpet for the premiere of Laxmii with much gratitude, joy and butterflies in the stomach. Our movie will be all yours tomorrow … I can’t wait for you to sit down with your family and friends in the comfort of your home while you watch Laxmii. See you in the cinema.”

The horror comedy is a remake of the 2011 Tamil movie. Kanchana and has been directed by Raghava Lawrence, who also directed the original. Laxmii is scheduled to launch on November 9 on Disney + Hotstar. The film will also open in Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates in theaters, while it will premiere on Hotstar in the US, UK and Canada.
