RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh’s first chief minister Ajit Jogi, who was admitted to a private hospital in Raipur after suffering a cardiac arrest, you have slipped into a coma. The medical bulletin described his condition as critical.

A doctor visited his residence and given Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) before being shifted to the hospital. The doctors have pulled the seed out of the windpipe.
A subsequent CT scan showed swelling in brain, indicating that he is suffering from cerebral oedema. A medical bulletin issued on Saturday said.
Jogi’s heart was functioning well in the evening yet he is on ventilator and his condition is very critical.
The ex-Chhattisgarh CM’s legislator spouse Dr Renu Jogi, son Amit are at the hospital.
Jogi had quit the IAS in the early 1980s during undivided Madhya Pradesh and became a member of the Rajya Sabha. He became the first chief minister of Chhattisgarh in November 2000 after the new state carved out of Madhya Pradesh.
