about the video

The Indian Air Force celebrated its 88th anniversary with a grand parade and dazzling airshow at Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad. The event was attended by the Chief of the Defense Staff, General Bipin Rawat, the Chief of the Army MM Naravane and the Chief of the Naval General Staff, Admiral Karambir Singh. IAF Chief Air Marshal RKS Bhadauria inspected the parade which was followed by a majestic airshow. The highlight of the air show this time was the newly incorporated Rafale jets that took part in the air show. The Rafale flew in the ‘Vijay’ formation, flanked by two Jaguars and Mirage 2000 each. He also performed a minimum radius turn within an area smaller than a hockey field in a figure eight. Air Force Day is celebrated to mark the day the IAF was established in 1932. Wishes came for the IAF from across the political spectrum with President Kovind and Prime Minister Modi leading the way. Watch the full video for all the details on the 2020 IAF Day Parade.
