The 71-year-old Congressional treasurer was admitted to Gurgaon hospital on Friday. He was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Faridabad previously.
Patel’s son Faisal tweeted: “On behalf of his family, we would like to share that Shri Ahmed Patel tested positive for Covid19 a few weeks ago. He has now been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon for further treatment. “
