A day after being questioned by the CBI Special Investigation Team for eight hours, Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty will be questioned by the agency for a fourth day on Monday in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Her sister Mitu Singh is also likely to be questioned.
Chakraborty was questioned on Sunday about the medical treatment and medications administered to Sushant Singh Rajput and about the mention of drugs in her talks. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team has been questioning Rhea daily for the past three days because her responses “have not been satisfactory.”
According to CBI officials, Rhea, accompanied by her brother Showik, arrived at the DRDO guesthouse around 10:15 a.m. Sunday and left at 7 p.m. A CBI source said the agency questioned her again about the expenses. he did with Sushant’s credit card and his medical treatment.
The source said the CBI team was interested in finding out more details about Sushant’s treatment, what medications he was being administered and how long he had been receiving treatment. The source said that when asked about medical treatment and medications, Rea was “evasive.” She also didn’t feel “comfortable” when asked about Sushant’s problems and why she was talking about drugs in her chats, according to the source.
The source said she was also questioned about the reasons for replacing personal staff at Sushant’s residence and reportedly keeping the late actor away from his family.
The CBI team also questioned her about financial transactions and investment plans. The CBI team was not satisfied with Rhea’s responses and plans to summon her again. To date, the CBI has interrogated Rhea for more than 25 hours. She was interrogated for more than 10 hours on Friday and seven hours on Saturday.
The CBI also questioned his brother separately on Friday and Saturday, in addition to questioning Sushant’s personal staff, Neeraj Singh, and Dipesh Sawant, his roommate Siddharth Pithani and others.
The CBI team had arrived in Mumbai along with the forensic team last Thursday, a day after the Supreme Court gave the go-ahead for an investigation by the federal agency, and the BMC exempted it from mandatory quarantine.
To date, the CBI team has twice visited Cooper Hospital, Sushant’s Bandra Apartment, and the Waterstone complex. The team has also compiled all the Mumbai police documents related to the case.

The CBI has registered a case by order of the central government based on a request from the Bihar government. Sushant’s father KK Singh had filed a case with Bihar police against Rhea, his father Indrajit, his mother Sandhya, his brother Showik, the former manager of Sushant, Shruti Modi, the house manager Samuel Miranda, Pithani and other strangers.
