This Diwali is very special for Akshay Kumar, whose latest movie, Laxmii, got the biggest premiere on Disney + Hotstar. So when everyone is drenched in festive fervor on Diwali, Akshay Kumar took the opportunity to announce his new movie, Ram Setu. On Twitter, he shared the first poster for the movie that attempts to revolve around Ram’s ideals, in an attempt to keep them alive.
WHAT WAS THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR AKSHAY KUMAR?
Akshay Kumar shared the first poster for his new movie Ram Setu. The film will be directed by Abhishek Sharma. It will be produced by Akshay Kumar’s mother, Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra. The poster says of Ram Setu: “Myth or reality?” Akshay is seen in contemporary clothing and a saffron scarf with long hair. A faint image of Ram is seen in the background of the poster.
WHAT DID AKSHAY KUMAR WRITE ABOUT RAM SETU?
The actor wished everyone a happy Diwali as he shared the great news about Ram Setu. He wrote: “This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep Ram’s ideals alive in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge (setu) that will connect generations to come.”
He further added: “Taking this gigantic task ahead, here is our humble attempt: #RamSetu. I wish you and yours a very happy Deepawali (sic)! “

He also made the announcement in Hindi in another tweet. It contained a poster in Hindi, in which the image of Ram with a bow and arrow in his hands is more prominent in the background.
