Singer Adnan Sami reprimanded the film and music industry’s ‘mafia’ for trying to ‘control art’. He also spoke openly about the exploitation of talent in the music industry and said that if he does not ‘get into dictate’ then he is in danger of becoming unstable.
“The Indian film and music industry seriously needs an ean harklin’. Especially in terms of music, New Singers, Veteran Singers, Music Composers and Music Producers – who are being exploited in HILT !! “You fell into DICTAT or you are out … Why is Creativity beyond ‘Creat Control’ you don’t have a clue about ‘Creativity’ and are trying to play GOD ??” Written in a bizarre Instagram post.
Adnan also slowed down the trend of rerouting old songs and films. “By the grace of God we have 1.3 billion people in India – all we have to offer is ‘remakes’ and ‘remixes’? For God’s sake, stop this and allow truly talented new and experienced artists and Give you peace creatively and cinematic peace !!! ”, he wrote.
Calling the ‘mafia’ of the film and music industries as ‘arrogant’ and authoritarian, he wrote, “Do you have a movie and music ‘mafia’ who has arrogantly entitled themselves as ‘self-proclaimed and self-righteous’, Those who have not learned anything. History is that you cannot control the ecosystem of art and creativity of any field? Just !! Move !! ‘CHANGE’ is here and it’s knocking at your door !! Ready or not, it’s coming! Pull yourself together! “
“As Abraham Lincoln said – ‘You can fool some people for some time, but you can’t fool all people all the time !!”, he said.

Last week, singer Sonu Nigam shared a video in which she opened up about the power dynamics of the music industry and warned everyone that talented musicians could be driven to suicide just because of these practices. He claimed that two music labels controlled the industry with an iron fist.
“I was lucky; I got into this industry early and therefore could get out early and avoid the mess, but for scores of new people, it can be very difficult. I keep talking to them, all of them Believe me – they are worried – a producer, director and music composer wants to work with you, but the music company will say ‘this man is not our artist’, he said.
