The son of veteran playing singer Anuradha Paudwal, music composer Aditya Paudwal passed away in a Mumbai hospital on Saturday. He was 35 years old.
Songwriter and singer Shankar Mahadevan told indianexpress.com: “Aditya was only 35 years old and she was such a lively person. Actually, he was ill for many years. He had some intermittent physical ailments, so he also had hypertension. He was unwell many years ago, but then he recovered. He even got in shape, but it happened again. He had to do something with his lungs, and eventually his kidneys failed. The last four days he was in the hospital, in the ICU and this morning he passed away. Very sad.”
Mahadevan also took to Facebook to offer his condolences. He shared, “Devastated to hear this! Our dear Aditya Paudwal no longer exists! I can not believe this! What an amazing musician and charming human being! I just sang a song that was programmed so beautifully by him two days ago! I can’t accept this !! I love you brother … I miss you “
Aditya Paudwal was an arranger and music producer and had recently worked on Thackeray, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Aditya is survived by her mother Anuradha and sister Kavita.
