Actor Rakul Preet Singh appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today to record his statement in connection with the agency’s drug investigation related to the death of film star Sushant Singh Rajput. Actor Deepika Padukone’s manager, Karishma Prakash, also came to the OCN office in Colaba for questioning by the Special Investigation Team, authorities said.

This is the first time that both Rakul Preet and Ms. Prakash have appeared for questioning before the anti-drug agency that launched an investigation after the chats recovered from the phone of the arrested actor Rhea Chakraborty.

Rakul Preet was supposed to record his statement Thursday, but his team had claimed that it had not received a subpoena from the central agency. Shortly after, NCB officials reached out to their followers, who acknowledged the subpoena.

In addition to Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor have also been summoned by the OCN in its ever-widening drug investigation related to the Sushant Singh Rajput case, which has thrown a drug twist and Bollywood after that some incriminating WhatsApp chats were found. by researchers.

The names of Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan emerged during the questioning of Ms Chakraborty, who was arrested on 9 September on charges of buying drugs.

Rhea Chakraborty, who is currently in Byculla Jail in Mumbai, has been charged with “being an active member of a drug union” and organizing drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput, whom she dated in her final months.

Ms. Chakraborty has denied allegations made by the NCB that she is an active member of a “drug union”.

The names of Deepika Padukone and Shraddha Kapoor were revealed in WhatsApp chats recovered from the phone of Sushant Singh Rajput’s talent agent, Jaya Saha, who is also being questioned by investigators. The talks suggested that the actors had used drugs.
