Bollywood actor Rajiv Kapoor died Tuesday at the age of 58. Sister-in-law Neetu Kapoor posted a photo of the actor on social media and wrote: “RIP.” Rajiv Kapoor, who was also a film producer and director, was the youngest son of the legendary Raj Kapoor and brother of Randhir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor, all actors and filmmakers. Rishi Kapoor died last year. the Ram Teri Ganga Maili The actor suffered a heart attack at his residence in Chembur, after which he was rushed to Inlaks Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital, the ANI news agency reported.
Bollywood business analyst Komal Nahta tweeted that Rajiv Kapoor had died of a heart attack. “Very sad news. Rajiv (Chimpu) Kapoor dies after a heart attack,” he tweeted.

Rajiv Kapoor, who made his Bollywood debut with the 1983 film Ek Jaan Hain Hum, was best known for the 1985 box office hit Ram Teri Ganga Maili. Was last seen in Zimmedaar. He also acted in movies like Mera Saathi Y Hum to chale pardes , among others. The actor, known by the nickname “Chimpu,” became a film producer with the 1991 film Henna starring Rishi Kapoor. He also endorsed other home productions such as Prem granth Y Aa Ab Laut Chalen.
He was ready to return to Bollywood after nearly three decades with the joint production of Ashutosh Gowariker and Bhushan Kumar, a sports drama titled Junior Tools, co-starring Sanjay Dutt.
