New Delhi: A budding actor named Akshat Utkarsh reportedly died by suicide at his home in Mumbai’s Andheri, the ANI news agency reported. A case has been brought to the Mumbai police and the matter is under investigation. After the autopsy, Akshat’s body was handed over to his family.

He was reportedly found dead on Sunday night and was depressed from lack of work in the industry. It came from Muzaffarpur in Bihar.
The Hindustan Times reports that Akshat’s family has dismissed speculation that he was depressed and claimed he was murdered and alleged police negligence. His roommate found him dead at 11.30pm on Sunday.
Many people took to Twitter to express their shock at the incident. Meanwhile, an Internet section recalls the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who was also a native of Bihar and was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14.
