The maximum number of new cases is reported in Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka. These three states also report the maximum number of daily recoveries.

However, Kerala does not report as many deaths as the other two major states. By contrast, West Bengal is the third state reporting the highest number of deaths, after Maharashtra and Karnataka.
