Domestic equity market benchmarks are likely to open flat with a positive bias on Thursday, as trends in SGX Nifty suggest. Ingenious futures traded 28 points to 13,646.50 on the Singapore Stock Exchange. In the previous session, S&P BSE Sensex jumped 437 points to close at 46,444 while the NSE Nifty of 50 shares gained and surpassed the 13,600 levels. According to one analyst, the market is likely to be very volatile until concerns about the new strain of covid subside and the Christmas holidays are over. “The monthly maturity of F&O next week would further increase volatility. Investors would follow the Brexit deal for more clues that are expected to finalize soon. The long-term market structure remains positive, ”said Siddhartha Khemka, director of retail research at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd.

Actions in focus:

Ms. Bectors Food Specialties: Ms. Bectors is scheduled to make her debut on the stock exchange today with trading on the BSE and NSE. The Rs 540 crore IPO was subscribed 197.36 times and became the most underwritten IPO of 2020.

Antony Waste: Antony Waste Handling Cell’s initial public offering (IPO) of Rs 300 million was subscribed 15.04 times on the last day of the three-day bidding process. According to the data available on the exchanges, investors had bid for equity shares of Rs 10.02 crore compared to the equity offering size of 66.66 lakh.

RIL: Despite the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting ravages of the global economy, Deal Street managed to grow 7 percent in 2020 during 2019 to approximately $ 80 billion in 1,268 transactions, thanks to a series of major deals from Reliance, according to a report. More than a third of the total deal was done through Reliance: On Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail, PTI cited data collected by PwC India.

Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea: For the third consecutive month, Bharti Airtel added the maximum number of wireless subscribers at 3.67 million in October, followed by Reliance Jio, which added 2.23 million customers. Vodafone Idea continues to lose customers with a decrease of 2.65 million subscribers.

HDFC: Housing Development Finance Corporation signed a pact with the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) on Wednesday, saying its green home retail loan book has crossed the 14,000 rupee mark on 310 certified green buildings.

DHFL: The Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) creditors committee (CoC) will meet on Thursday to discuss the offers submitted in the fourth round of bidding. The meeting’s agenda includes evaluation of resolution plans, discussion on distribution mechanism, among others.
