Farhan Akhtar, Aamir Khan, Shankar Mahadevan teamed up with Berklee College students for the #BIXCOVIDFUND cause and used Dil Chahta Hai’s title song in the most creative way.
The coronavirus pandemic has created a scandal worldwide. Everyone has been doing their best to entertain themselves during this quarantine period and to be strong amid the blockade. After presenting I for India, which had been organized to entertain everyone across the country, was a great success, donations received from the online concert were delivered to the aid fund COVID-19. Farhan Akhtar, Aamir Khan, Shankar Mahadevan and others came together for something new and exciting.
Berklee Indian Ensemble from Berklee College of Music has joined them for the #BIXCOVIDFUND cause and has used Dil Chahta Hai’s title track in the most creative way. Aamir, who was the main actor in the film along with composer Shankar Mahadevan and Farhan, who was the director of the film, joined the members of the university for this incredible initiative. Farhan himself has shared this video on his social media account. The video starts with Aamir introducing the song and calling it his favorite and then we can also see Farhan and Shankar singing the song.

The song features other artists such as Neeti Mohan, Zakir Hussain, Salim Merchant, etc. The song members have used pluck cards that mention what their hearts want as they sing the amazing song.

We miss Akshaye Khanna and Saif Ali Khan in the video, but the new video has definitely lifted everyone’s spirits. For the uninitiated, Dil Chahta Hai marked Farhan’s directorial debut and also starred in Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni, and Dimple Kapadia. Dil Chahta Hai revolves around the transition in the romantic life of three friends who graduated from college.
