Varun Dhawan turned 33 on Friday and enjoyed her birthday celebrations at midnight with a cake cutting ceremony at home. The actor cut a heart-shaped birthday cake while blowing out the candles in the presence of his family.

Varun shared a glimpse of the birthday celebrations in her Instagram stories. While one photo of the actor shows him posing before the cake cutting ceremony, another photo takes a closer look at the homemade cake. He also went through all the birthday wishes extended by his friends and industry co-stars.

Karan Johar desired him by sharing a photo of him kissing the actor on the forehead. “Happy birthday to my crazy, happy and charming son,” he captioned it.

His Street Dancer 3D co-star Nora Fatehi wished him a behind-the-scenes photo from the film’s sets. She wrote: “Oh, this is one of my favorite photos of us! I wish you all the best. Many more years of success, good health, happiness and laughter. “The image shows Nora doing a glamorous pose for the camera with an indifferent Varun looking at the ceiling.

Banita Sandhu, his October co-star in Shoojit Sircar, also wished him a BTS photo of the film’s sets. She wrote: “Happy birthday, absolute superstar. Thank you for being the wonderful and loving person you are and you always feed me when I’m hungry. Forever my Dan. Varun shared his birthday message in his Instagram stories and replied: “I hope you and your sheep are good.”

Varun also announced that he will be celebrating his birthday with his fans via a live Instagram chat at 4pm on Friday.

Varun is currently locked up with his family at his residence in Mumbai. It was rumored that he was planning a big wedding with his girlfriend Natasha Dalal this summer until the country was locked in the middle of the coronavirus outbreak.

He was last seen on Street Dancer 3D and will now be seen in his father David Dhawan’s directorial remake Coolie No. 1.
