Amid an intense electoral battle in West Bengal, BJP actor and leader Mithun Chakraborty criticized the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) government for its “poribortan (change) “slogan, stating that” there has been no change in status and the slogan was just a lie. “

The second phase of the West Bengal Assembly elections concluded on Thursday with an estimated voter turnout of 80.43 percent.
Thirty constituencies of the Assembly of the South 24 Parganas, Bankura, Paschim Medinipur and Purba Medinipur districts went to the polls in the second phase.
Voting for the eight-phase West Bengal third phase will take place on April 6. The vote count will take place on May 2.
