Actor and politician Paresh Rawal is the latest celebrity to contract the coronavirus – he tested positive for COVID-19, he revealed in a tweet on Friday night. The 65-year-old actor contracted the virus weeks after receiving the first dose of the Covid vaccine. On March 9, Paresh Rawal received his first vaccine, which he revealed in a tweet. Thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the former BJP MP wrote: “V for vaccines! Thank you to all the doctors and nurses and frontline healthcare workers and scientists. India recorded 62,258 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, the biggest jump in a single day since mid-October.
